Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras is a school adoption program. YPC was officially launched by now Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in 2001.
By October 2004, 32 schools are under their care - 13 secondary schools, 17 primary schools and 2 pre-schools. YPC also adopted schools outside the Cheras Division.
Objective:
" Help schools to source for funds through school activities. " Providing help and support for schools' amenities. " Working together with the PTA (Parents Teachers Association) to run programs. " Provide scholarships and financial support to poor students. " Provide online currently news.
