It has been their life-long dream to care for children who are orphans, abused, neglected and underprivileged.
The Home is now managed by Persatuan Rumah K.I.D.S. which is registered with the Registrar of Societies ( Reg.No. 6038/96).
The majority of the residents of Compassion Home over the years have been reconciled with their loved ones / next of kin. Currently, Compassion Home is home to children ranging from 3 to 14 years of age. The boys and girls live in two different homes.
Compassion Home's Vision Statement
a) We wish to provide needy children with a family environment with access to education, nurture and security, where children can realize their full potential.
b) We dream of building an integrated community ( Compassion Village) providing various services to displaced children ( orphans, abused, abandoned and neglected ones) and old folks. It will also have a family counseling centre.
