| BACKGROUND/HISTORY | | | When Established: | 01/1996 | | Description of Charity: | House of PEACE is a non- profit organization founded by Eddie and Audrey Lee in January 1998. The Home caters for the emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of children from broken homes and underprivileged families. It also caters for the physically and emotionally abused children and reactive depressive children.
The Home is located in a bungalow house in Canning Garden, Ipoh. It currently a ccommodates 19 boys (aged 6 to 13 years) and 19 girls (aged 2 to 16 years).
The Home's monthly source of funds are from contributions from the founding principals, donations in cash and in kind from the public and contributions from some of the children's families (about RM 150 to RM 300 per month - based on an able-to-pay basis.) | | Estimated Monthly Expenditure: | Please contact the Home directly |
