Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Rhema

Description of Charity:Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Rhema is a foster home which was formerly known as Pusat Rhema. For the past nine years the Home has been taking care and giving shelter to orphans and underprivileged children in Seremban. There are 27 children (aged between 2 and 17) in the Home. All are schooling except 3 of them. There are 3 full time staff and 3 part time staff looking after the Home.

The Home depends entirely on public donations.

Donation in Kind:
They appeal to the public to help in cash and in kind.
Description of Needs:
They continuously require funds to cover the monthly budget. They depend very much on the generosity of the public.
Major monthly expenditure are as follows:

House rental
- boys' dwelling RM 550.00
- girls' dwelling RM 600.00
- education centre RM 480.00
Total rental: RM 1630.00 per month

School bus RM 500.00 per month

Allowance for three staffs RM 2500.00 per month

Utilities RM 500 to RM 900 per month

Motor Maintenance RM 500.00 per month

To help cover costs, the Home has an on-going recycling program in which they collect used cloths, recyclable items such as cans, papers and plastics to generate funds.
